Anybody would think I was back in London, what with the grey skies and pouring rain, but no, this has been Sydney for the last week!
No sun means you missed out on a swatch of Essence Colour & Go Time For Romance, a darker pink than China Glaze Material Girl.
Anyway, on to today when the sun shone and all was right with the world once again. Remember I said I loved/hated Chanel Peridot and if ever I found a colour that was leaf green and shifted to a cold blue I would snap it up in an instant. Then let me introduce you to Missha Crystal Nail Polish HGR01 Green from Korea.
Green, although in the sun it takes on a gold colour which is not as warm as Chanel Peridot's or as prominent.
Leaf Green equals yummy!
Getting colder!
And freezing! I'm so in love with this polish.
Now I'm just left wondering what if this polish and Chanel Peridot were mixed? Would that not be awesome?

Gosh Holographic!!
Off out tonight to an Important Event at a Swanky Location, what to choose......
It was a choice between Gosh Holograpic and Chanel Graphite, having already ruled out Ozotic Pro 509.
There were two films on TV last night Victoria and Elizabeth, so I had plenty of time to devote to this mani. And time enough to change it to Chanel Graphite if the results were the same as last time (an epic fail).
And it seems time is what you need for Gosh Holographic! I let each coat completely dry before adding the next one. This is two coats over the Aqua Base Coat.
The application was flawless, compared to last time where I didn't wait too long between coats.
Followed by two top coats of Seche Vite as I do NOT want this to chip at all! In some of these pictures you can see the rainbow effect, but that's nothing to seeing it in Real Life.

OPI Rainbow Connection equals Love!
This is OPI Rainbow Connection part of their Muppet Collection.
This is so bright and glittery! and you can see just how glittery by the reflections shown in the following photos.
This is large and small glitter pieces with the predominate colour being silver, and then the rainbow of other colours in equal quantities.
Three coats gave full coverage and really blinged out my nails. Young children were especially enthralled by this, and the adults thought it very christmassy.

Across the Universe?
No! this is not Deborah Lippmann's Across the Universe!
This is Essence Colour and Go Blue Addicted.
I'm assuming that this nail polish is a dupe! Having only seen swatches online of Deborah Lippmann's Across the Universe, I wouldn't be able to say it is for sure. And at $2.55 for a 5ml bottle of polish as opposed to the high price of Deborah Lippmann polishes I am more than happy with this pretty polish.
I found this brand in Target, and the bottles are so sweet, with matching colour tops to the polish. I didn't stop at buying just the one bottle of polish.

Something in the Air!
This is Nubar Blue Hydranga with, can you guess?
Deborah Lippmann Glitter in the Air. This is pink and blue glitter in a milky blue base, which applies practically clear. There are three sizes of glitter, large, tiny and teensy!
Whilst this combination is very pretty, I can not cope with the sparseness of the Glitter, this was two coats by the way. The randomness of the glitter just kills me.
And a close up, you can see all three sizes of glitter in the bottle, and just about see them on the nail.

Kleancolor Metallic Mango #159
Well I never thought I would wear orange nail polish! But I adore this colour.
This is Kleancolor Metallic Mango #159
This colour really seems to glow on the nail and looks to have a lot of depth to it. This particular Kleancolor applied beautifully.
And I found the last patch of sunshine of the day to take these photos. This colour is so summery and bright and sure to put you in a good mood, that it has become a new favourite!

Introducing Minstrel!
This is Minstrel, taking inspiration form Cathy at morenailpolish.blogspot.com and her Frosted Chocolate Cake recipe. This is Ultra3 Chocolate Cake, Ultra3 Black Satin, Clear Nail Polish and Spectra Flair.
I've called it Minstrel for two reasons: the first, in the UK there are chocolates called Minstrels that are like grown up Smarties. Minstrels have a hard chocolate coloured candy shell which is very shiny. The second and more important reason is that my chocolate/black cat was called Minstrel because he had chocolate coloured pads that looked like Minstrels!
In the sunlight the Spectra Flair sparks into life.
