Is There Such A Thing As Too Much Glitter?
Well this is the question I asked myself before I layered Butter London Tart With a Heart over The Black Knight, and the answer is a resounding NO!
This was the mani from yesterday, with one coat of Tart With a Heart followed by two coats of Seche Vite. Hopefully you can see all the different twinkling colours that make up Tart With a Heart.
I'm afraid you will have to put up with all these pictures because I find this particular glitter is the pinnacle of glitters! And the only way it could be bettered is if they did a silver version.
And I love out of focus shots, you can really see all the different colours sparkling!

Butter London The Black Knight Take Two!
Well after the debacle that was my first attempt at using Butter London The Black Knight I thought I had better try again before consigning this polish to the reject bin! And I am so glad I did.
This time I used Models Prefer Little Black Dress one coat and then only one coat of The Black Knight. The Black Knight is very thick and gloopy compared to Tart with a Heart, and dries very matt. I then used my top and base coat followed by two coats of Seche Vite to make this mani smooth and very glossy.
This is a black base with blue, pink and red glitter, in the sunlight you can see loads of silver sparks, as if your nails are dripping in diamonds! Butter London makes awesome glitter polishes, the glitter just seems to be extra glittery when compared to other glitter polishes. Have I raved enough about this polish yet?

Butter London No More Waity, Katie
And here it is, the third Butter London Polish: let me introduce you to No More Waity, Katie. Before I start talking about the polish let me just say I was hugely disappointed with these pictures when I first saw them... and that's the biggest understatement of the year so far. This polish is just so pretty, a grey lavender colour with very sparkly lavender glitter that really captures the light and looks super sparkly! All these pictures are capturing more grey than what can be seen in real life.
Butter London have awsome colours and apply wonderfully. This also had two layers of Seche Vite top coat to smooth out the glitter.
This is much prettier, purely because of the sparkles, than Essence Rock You Love, Peace and Purple; which is a grey purple with purple shimmer and some say it is a dupe of Chanel Paradoxal. As I love both of these colours, I now feel that I NEED Chanel Paradoxal in my life too!!

Butter London Tart with a Heart
Well my package of Butter London Nail Polishes from the USA arrived whilst I was at Wagga Wagga. I thought I would adore The Black Knight and hate Tart with a Heart! Well that didn't go according to plan. I found The Black Knight thick and gloopy, whilst Tart with a Heart was an absolute dream to apply and looked stunning layered.
Tart with a Heart is a wonderfully sparkly polish, it has small gold glitter along with bigger hex holographic glitter, even just turning the bottle in your hand the glitter is so sparkly and mesmerising! My new favourite amongst my glitters.
And my next post will be about another Butter London polish that arrived in the same package and is so beautiful in a different way! Can you guess which one?

Angel Wings
I've just come back from a long weekend in Wagga Wagga, visiting my daughter, her partner and my lovely grandchildren Mr 3 and Miss Diva 2. They are all so gorgeous and special.
Now I'm back in Sydney and their tantrums are fading from my memory I miss them. So I thought I would do the following mani that takes inspiration from their Angel Wings of which I'm positive they have, if you look hard enough!
One coat of Kleancolor Metallic white which looks a very ethereal white, and much, much better in real life.
And to make it even more gorgeous I did one coat of Essence Colour & Go Space Queen, which is a very pale pink with holographic glitter! Oh how sparkly are you in the sunshine?
Followed by Seche Vite top coat. Unfortunately the camera has also picked up the yellow staining on my nails from a previous mani where it appears I have not used enough base coat to prevent the staining.
And lastly a photo taken with flash to try and pick up what can be seen in real life, which is a very ethereal, glittery white mani just like my gorgeous grandchildrens' angel wings!

New Year's Day
Well I hope you all survived New Year's Eve,
I, myself finally managed to actually do something by late afternoon, and the first thing I did was change my nail polish before we went out for dinner!
I choose China Glaze Let's Do It In 3-D a mid grey with course grade holographic particles. This polish applies beautifully.
This was three coats with Seche Vite top coat.
God alone knows how I managed to get the grass in focus and not my nails! but this picture shows how strong the holographic rainbow is.
And in focus, this is a lovely colour polish a touch darker than Ozotic Pro 509 which is very silver.
