I'm sorry to say that OPI Black Spotted is ONLY available in France and will not be released anywhere else! How cruel is that? If you don't like shatter polish, which I personally do not, then this would be perfect because as it dries spots form.
As soon as I got my bottle I was straight out into the garden to take pictures, and such was my excitement I didn't clean up as much as I could have! So please excuse that and the lack of handcream to soften out the dry cuticles.
So on to my mani, this is two coats of Chi Chi Cat Fight, another find from Myer's sale bins for $2.50. Chi Chi Cat Fight is a lovely purple colour with a strong blue flash. One coat of Seche Vite and then one coat of OPI Black Spotted followed by Fabulous Triple Tough Gel as I have heard Black Spotted does not like Seche Vite.
OPI Black Spotted effect looks so much better in real life, isn't that always the way though. I thought my tips looked like a butterfly's wing.

I quite like it, might try to franken something similar :)
ReplyDeleteThank you LabMuffin, as to a franken I wouldn't even know where to start because the effect is similar to oil and water not mixing with the oil pushing the water away.
DeleteOh wow, I need this. It's lovely!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI got a bottle of this in the mail today and had a really quick play. Mine didn't look nearly as good as yours. It says to use thins coats, but wow, I had trouble with the forming the spots. Yours looks great!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kitties26, when I used thin coats it just made my mani look dirty. I used medium coats (if there is such a thing)with just two brush strokes down my nails I did not rebrush which is something I am prone to doing when I use colour or top coat. I hope this helps you, because this polish has a gorgeous effect.
