Femme Fatale Cosmetics Winter Hyacinth

Another winner from Femme Fatale Cosmetics, this is Winter Hyacinth, showing a bit sky blue here but in reality it is much more teal. I must admit I am not the greatest fan of white glitters or even sparse glitters.... but this was so pretty with fuchsia and rose hexs plus the white glitter was pearly rather than a flat matte white, so I ended up wearing it most of the week. This was two coats with no fishing or special placement of the glitters plus a Seche Vite top coat.

Seashells, Sparkleshells

I was all pinked out by Valentines Day, so I chose something more subdued! Ha! as if that is ever going to happen.... Anyway back to my nails, this is Femme Fatale Sparkleshell a beautiful pale ivory cream with brown, golden holos and periwinkle hexs.

Not knowing how opaque Femme Fatale Sparkleshell was going to turn out, I first did two coats of Picture Polish White Wedding (my go to soft, i.e. not whiteout, white) followed by two coats of Sparkleshell and finished off with one coat of Seche Vite.

Focusing on Picture Polish Focus

So I wore my Picture Polish Majesty for the whole week! And it got to Thursday night when I thought I really have to change my polish otherwise people will start to talk. I wanted to do something quite quick i.e. not a full mani from scratch, when my eyes alighted on Picture Polish Focus, which matched one of the colours in Femme Fatale's Gilded Rose. Picture Polish Focus is a beautiful magenta colour which exactly matches red onions once you have peeled the outside skin off! I was mesmerised by this discovery and I couldn't stop comparing them, I even showed my husband.

This must count as one of my laziest mani's ever, and it will only work over a pale colour...after a quick file and washed with washing up liquid to remove any grease and grime, this is two coats of Picture Polish Focus plus a top coat of Seche Vite.
This mani is just as pretty as the majesty one, and once again three days later it is still going strong. Picture Polish's polishes wear like iron and I rarely have tip wear let alone chipping even though I work full time etc. etc.

"Yes Your Majesty, You Look Beautiful"

In fact you look stunning! This is the new Picture Polish collaboration shade with Sahrish Adeel named Majesty. As I don't usually wear nude polishes (read never, as I find nudes hard to look good with my skin tone) I wasn't really expecting to like this polish. Newsflash I love it so much! This polish is just so pretty being gold and pink.

And could I gild the lily any further? Well yes I could as it turns out. This is another beauty from Femme Fatale, Gilded Rose which is part of her Valentine's Day Trio. Gilded Rose is full of gold holo, rose and garnet in various shapes and sizes, just sumptuous!

On to my mani then, this was Gelicious gel with three coats of Picture Polish Majesty and no top coat. The accent nail is Majesty followed by one coat of Femme Fatale Gilded Rose plus two coats of Seche Vite. I did this mani on Thursday night and it is wearing like iron, I'm still wearing it today and I don't see myself removing it any time soon as I just love it!
